He carries me when I'm too tired walk on my own. He holds me close when I tremble and am afraid. He assures me with His presence and even when I can't feel Him, I know He's there.
He opens doors and breaks down walls and heals wounds...even when they run deep.
When all I can do is cry, he wipes my tears and comforts me.
He is my strength when I'm weak.
He is faithful even when I'm not.
He never breaks a promise or changes His mind.
He never lets me go, even when I'm pulling away from Him and wanting to do things my own way and handle things myself, He refuses to let go.
"I will praise the Lord at all times. I will constantly speak His praises. I will boast only in the Lord; let all who are helpless take heart. Come, let us tell of the Lords' greatness; let us exalt his name together. I prayed to the Lord, and He answered me. He freed me from all my fears. Amen, Deb! I have always loved those verses. They are so comforting during the times over the years when I've struggled to get my eyes off of me or my circumstances and keep them elevated on the Lord.
