Bible Study At the Well

Today finds us At the Well for week three of our Bible study, "God , Who are You and What Can You Do for Me?".

It's not to late to join in and dig deeper into God's Word, learn more about Who He is and who we are in Him.

This week's question for discussion is:

How comforting is it to you to know that God is with you, through the good and the bad, always protecting you and always loving you?

I think for me, more than knowing God is with me, is knowing that He has to approve everything that happens in my life. I know that every good and perfect thing is from God and that blesses me and humbles me. You see, I know I deserve nothing, but by the grace of God I enjoy undeserved privileges through Him.

But when those bad things happen, when nothing is going right and it seems no matter how hard I try I keep taking one step forward and two steps back...it's those times I'm stand in awe of God because He has the faith in me that I will endure through the trials I am going through!! He has faith in me that I can, through Him, overcome and win those battles!!

To know that He is there with me through everything and that He has the authority to allow or ordain what's going on in my life......absolutely priceless!!

Deb,

"...I know I deserve nothing, but by the grace of God I enjoy undeserved privileges through Him." Oh, how thankful I am for His grace...His grace that is always available to His children.

Praying for you this week as you continue to seek after God.

By His Grace,
Jenifer

If you haven't already done so, be sure to get the new Bible study button and add it to your site. The coding of the button changed due to the recent move to wordpress. Thanks!

Priceless indeed!! I'm so thankful for this study & everyone sharing... helping me to get even closer then just studying on my own.
The direction you went - "knowing that He has to approve everything that happens in my life." - spurs so much inside of me; & yes getting it that He knows, "He has the faith in me that" I can endure whatever it may be that I'm going through... b/c with Him - all things are possible; and He gives me the strength needed to endure all things.
Thank you for sharing these thoughts with me; Hugs & Prayers, hL
